The story of Sneha Mysore Sridhara
It started as a hobby. It became a calling.
Zimt began with one person, one oven, and a lot of curiosity. Sneha first fell for baking during her years in Germany, where the smell of fresh bread and cinnamon seemed to wait for you on every street corner.
She never trained in a grand culinary school. She learned the way most good bakers do, by reading late into the night, watching closely, getting it wrong, and trying again the next weekend.
I missed the bakeries in Germany so much that I started baking my own. I haven't really stopped since.
Sneha Mysore Sridhara, founder of ZimtWhat began as a hobby slowly took over her kitchen. She baked for family, then for friends, then for friends of friends who kept coming back for one more box. Somewhere along the way, the thing she did for joy became the thing she wanted to do every single day.
Zimt is what came of that decision. It is Sneha's way of bringing a little of that German warmth home to Bengaluru, one cinnamon roll at a time.
